Just Give UP

As I was writing and praying today I didn’t think that “Giving Up” sounded like a very good word from the Lord.

God says: “Jon … just give up.” 

What?

 
Have you ever given your kids money to buy you a birthday present?  Think you got that idea from anyone?  Yes!  God gives us to give back to Him, what we have been given!  Your gifts, talents, abiilties, money, time … Whatever God has blessed you with, you got From him, you use Through Him and by doing so you Give To Him.  You are Giving Up.

Romans 11:36 – “For From Him and through Him and for Him are all things.  To Him be the glory forever!  Amen.

Bottom line: Give Up by using the gifts we’ve been given, to give up to Him.

Not to earn favor or acceptance, but out of acceptance.

Don’t carry your worldly and culturally works-based-incentives into your spiritual life.

You have already been accepted.  Now, its time to give back.

It’s time to Give Up.
